Is it Stupid Food? PB&J Fried Banana Hot Dog

Hot Dog Rolls

Welcome to another episode of Is It Stupid Food? This episode we are gong to be combining what kind of reminded me of an after school snack. We have a hot dog bun with peanut butter on one side and strawberry jelly on the other. You then add a banana where the hotdog would be, batter it and deep fry it.Did it taste good? Making the Hot Dog

Steps:
Peel bananas and set aside.
Spread peanut butter on one side of the roll and jelly on the other side.
Add banana to the middle of the hot dog roll and squish shut.
Batter
Equipment:
Two large bowls
Whisk
Steps:
Mix batter with your choice of carbonated beverage.
Add in about 1/2 cup of liquid.
Then whisk in until the batter is smooth.
Start off by covering the hot dog in all purpose flower, then to the batter and back to the all flour until the hot dog is fuller covered.

Submerge the battered hot dog in the 360F+ oil.
Gently move the hot dog around in the oil, making sure all sides get fried
After its golden brown (5-8 minutes) remove from oil and place on a wire rack.
Cut it open and see what kind of cross section you got
